What's New in Propel Rx 2.1 SP3
Fixes
-
Propel Rx should no longer prompt you to change the Beyond Use Date (BUD) when amending or amending next a mixture prescription if no changes were made to the BUD field.
-
When a subject and message are entered from the Fax tile, they should be sent as a separate first page of the fax. The fax image is sent on subsequent pages. If no subject and message are entered, only the fax image is sent. This change applies to new faxes created after the fix.
-
Associated products should now be removed from the Order Pad when a new prescription is refused and removed from Profile.
-
Narcotic and regular invoices should now reconcile correctly and update inventory levels without encountering rare errors in the backend that affect the shipment insertion process.
-
Patient email addresses can now be entered and saved in the Patient Folder Main tab when the email domain starts with a number.
-
The Third Party Plan Search window should now return the Nursing Charge plan with bill code N0 when searching from the Patient Folder Third Party tab.
-
The POS setting for Compliance prescriptions in More (...) > Pharmacy > Workflow should no longer be overridden with Propel Rx upgrades.
-
Users should now be able to update RxTx (CPS) credentials in Propel Rx without receiving a "Password is blank" error when a password has been entered.
-
The QA and Qty fields should now be disabled in all provinces when rebilling a prescription that has one or more refills on top of it. This change prevents scenarios where a user could inadvertently dispense more than the remaining authorized quantity due to quantity values not recalculating consistently after a mid-chain rebill.
-
Refills should no longer generate errors caused by an invalid Start Date of January 1, 0001 when prescriptions are downloaded from the EHR. For newly downloaded prescriptions, the Start Date now defaults to the current date and can be manually changed if needed.
-
The Pharmacist Signature section of the e-File copy should now display the name of the pharmacist who completed Clinical Review rather than the pharmacy technician who completed Technical Validation. This fix will apply on a go-forward basis.
-
The Technical Validation window should now consistently display the Snap Caps message for patients with that preference instead of defaulting to a Double Count message.
-
Refill prescriptions should now retain the existing authorization number from the prescription chain when Yes is selected in the Piggyback prompt.
-
The Patient Profile Condensed report should now display the correct status (e.g., Inactive, Suspended, Revoked) rather than showing "Discontinued" for all non-active prescriptions.
-
Duplicate workstation exceptions can no longer be saved for reports and labels in More (...) > Pharmacy > System, preventing "select returns more than one row" errors. This fix will apply on a go-forward basis.
-
The MAR Complete by Dosage report should now display the full SIG and additional instructions without duplicating or missing text.
-
Prescriptions with the PRN flag on (in the Rx Detail Extended tab) should no longer appear on the Compliance Preparation Log report.
-
Auto Refill prescriptions should now appear on the TMR report.
-
Users that have changed from a non-pharmacist role to a pharmacist role in Propel Rx should no longer be linked to another pharmacist's initials when logged in.
-
When a prescription reaches its stop date, the Abort (Discontinue) message should no longer fail to send to the EHR with the error "The [Event Reason(Stop Prescription)] is not valid." This previously caused subsequent EHR messages for the same patient to be placed in the EHR Queue. This fix applies on a go forward basis.
-
In Newfoundland and Labrador, EHR prescriptions should no longer be stuck in the EHR Queue due to null reference errors when Propel Rx attempts to send them after a Network Down. This fix applies to existing prescriptions with this error in the EHR Queue and future prescriptions.
